Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, theatres and concert halls have been closed in many countries, and artists have lost their place of activity in 2020. Together with cinematographer Reinier van Brummelen, Tomoko Mukaiyama presented a new way to experience live performance, sharing space and time with current technology. This piece highlight some of the possibilities of performing arts in the future, where artists and viewers can connect through art while in remote locations.

A Live Vol.1 – SUPER T market created a feeling of togetherness to the viewer, the sense of being in this concert hall, Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, through the experience of a vivid and spatial piano recital. Dynamic camera movements are creating 360 degrees feel and the light installation using the LED wall, giving the viewer a vivid and colourful visual experience.
