The fire of prayer, the fire of rage, the fire of ritual, the fire of life.
One of our highlights, season 2025-26 was ''Act of Fire'', my solo exhibition at Arts Maebashi, the museum in Gunma, Japan.

This weekend, we launched a new edition of EAT.
Every morning, we have been rediscovering the beauty of Amsterdam from the water.

EAT is a series of performances combining music, breakfast, and ritual. Together with the @Mediamatic team, this is the third edition we have created.

This summer, we welcome you aboard the Alhadj Djumaa, together with food artist Aslı Hatipoğlu and vocalist Claire Adams.
The Alhadj Djumaa is an Egyptian fishing boat that crossed the Mediterranean on 25 July 2013, carrying 282 refugees before being seized by the Italian Coast Guard. Today, the boat sails through Amsterdam's canals as part of Rederij Lampedusa.

Join us for a unique morning where breakfast, music, memory, history, and ritual come together on the water in Amsterdam.
