summer in Amsterdam

I love summer in Amsterdam.
Today it’s 21 degrees with blue sky here.
We moved our”office” to the cafe terrace for meetings.

New ideas and inspirations.

EAT 2025

[ A message from Tomoko]
Tap tap. Ping. Buzz.

Our valuable time is filled with notifications and distractions that keep us occupied with the future, so much so that I sometimes lose sight of the present and the elements around me. That’s what inspired me to start EAT, a full morning ritual orchestrated to pull you into the now, the here. It’s a coming together of the senses including taste, smell, sound, and vision, designed to overwhelm in the best possible way. To carry you and to ground you. To bring your awareness into the moment. This late summer, EAT returns to Mediamatic for a second time. This spectacular location overlooks Amsterdam’s open water, which inspired the theme for this edition: water.

Water as a life-giver.
As a disrupter.
As a force.
How do we capture it?
How do we live with it, rather than go against it?
And how does it change the way we experience food and flavour?

Come experience the now. Early bird tickets are now available via link in bio and will be on sale until 10 August. We look forward to waking up with you.
